Q: When does the 2021-22 season start?
A: The 2021-22 Winnipeg Jets season at Canada Life Centre will start with pre-season games on Sept. 26 followed by regular season games on Oct. 21, 2021. For a complete schedule, CLICK HERE.
Q: How many games will the 2021-22 season have?
A: The 2021-22 season will be comprised of 44 home games – 3 pre-season and 41 regular season games. For a complete schedule, CLICK HERE.
Q: What will the venue capacity be for the 2021-22 season?
A: Based on the current provincial trends related to vaccination rates, we are expecting and planning for a full 82-game regular schedule, with full or near-full capacity, for the 2021-22 season. Please continue to refer back to this page for any updated information.
Q: What will the gameday and guest experience be like at Canada Life Centre for the 2021-22 season?

Based on the current provincial trends related to vaccination rates, we are expecting to welcome fans back into Canada Life Centre for the 2021-22 season.
According to Public Health Order (PHO) changes effective Aug. 7, 2021, indoor professional sports will be permitted to fully reopen to 100 percent capacity for people who are fully vaccinated. Due to the ongoing presence of COVID-19 in Manitoba and elsewhere, and the extra risk posed by the new delta variant, the Aug. 7, 2021 PHO still stressed the importance of wearing masks indoors, including children under 12.
We have recently surveyed a selection of our customers and the majority of respondents told us they would only feel comfortable attending games if we required proof of full vaccination. Combining our survey findings along with other supporting data, research, and venue best practices, at this time, we will require proof of full vaccination for people to attend games and events at Canada Life Centre.
Furthermore, approximately 70 percent of guests felt it was important that staff and guests be required to wear masks at games or events. Accordingly, until further notice, we will require guests to wear masks while attending games or events at Canada Life Centre. You will be permitted to temporarily remove masks for consumption of food and beverages.
We will continue to monitor PHOs and recommendations as well as the sentiment of our customers on these important topics. In addition, more information will be shared soon on event/gameday screening measures related to these requirements. Please refer back to this page for future updates.

Canada Life Centre is now accredited by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council, which certifies our readiness to prevent and manage outbreaks and pandemics through the presence of best practice preparation, response and recovery protocols including stringent cleaning and disinfection (read more);
- There are over 100 hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue;
- There is contactless security screening upon entry;
- Cashless transactions will be available at points of purchase;
- Employees will receive additional training to ensure top safety and sanitation measures are applied at all times;
- Employees will be fully vaccinated and subject to rigorous gameday/event day health screening measures.
Q: What are the updates on the venue improvements that were planned for the summer of 2020 (on-ice projection, concourse enhancements, Exchange Restaurant)?
A: : This year we are introducing state-of-the-art on-ice projection, which will be featured pre-game and during intermissions. Think of on-ice projection like an entertainment show on ice. With the magic of technology, on-ice projection brings in elements of optical illusion, mind-blowing graphics and sound that will astound and entertain. Improvements to the Budweiser King Club, Exchange Restaurant and north concourse have been postponed to the summer of 2022.
